It's been a long time coming! With over 20 years of nurse practitioner experience, I knew that conventional medicine had become reactive, band-aid care, when it should be so much more. As I approached perimenopause and my labs were "normal" (while my symptoms absolutely weren't), I knew things needed to change. I was tired (where's my coffee?), grumpy (just ask my husband), and forgetful (where did I put my keys?).
